This is by far and away the single most unique, gorgeous, expensive, and rare pieces of jewelry that I own. Six years ago, the ring was well-above a thousand dollars and I wanted some serious customization done.

The ring alone already weighed over 100 grams, but I wanted it to be an even heavier, more robust piece. The second to last photo shows that the ring is so massive that the inside was always made hollowed-out.

When I requested to have it filled in with solid silver, many were surprised. By doing so, that would make the ring almost FIVE ounces of solid silver - over a quarter of a pound (almost 135 grams) of solid sterling silver on someones finger. At the time, it was the biggest, heaviest ring they had ever produced. Additionally, as I did not like the logo on the back of the ring (like shown in the last picture-the normal version), I requested that the back be flattened out and the logo engraved on the underside in scroll, with 925 USA added. This job was so large and so unique that Mitchell Binder himself decided to make it!

For those of you who follow King Baby, you know the brilliant owner and founder, Mitchell Binder, and you know that he rarely, if ever , makes a custom ring himself. He designs new works, but almost always leaves the manufacturing to his silversmiths. That is a big, big deal for collectors of King Baby Studios work. This giant ring is in pristine condition, the design is beyond stunning, and it will undoubtedly be both a statement piece and a collectible worthy of the most discriminating collector. For those wondering, I have never worn this ring.

It has been a collectible piece for me and a treasure to own, but I never dared to wear it out in public. Of all of the King Baby pieces I have owned over my life - from brackets, to hand-tooled leather jewelry boxes, to dozens of different rings, this has always remained my favorite. As the King Baby Studio brand has expanded by leaps and bounds over the past five years, the odds of ever having a custom made piece done by Mitchell himself are undoubtedly slim to none.

For the most discriminating and hardcore collector of unique jewelry and statement pieces, this size 12 ring is for you. Treat yourself or someone you care about to a one-of-a-kind gigantic and amazing piece of American jewelry. My feedback is impeccable and I will gladly welcome offers close to my list price.
