Antique Custom Made Sterling Silver Olympian Clam Shell Berry Spoon

Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a GORGEOUS antique Sterling Silver large berry spoon in the "Olympian" pattern, c. This stunning spoon is marked "Sterling" only with no maker's stamp and we believe it to be custom made.

A matching pattern was made by a very famous company, however, we do not know who made this particular piece. The spoon has an elaborately embossed figural design covering the top and mid-section on the front of the stem with another design on the mid-section of the back of the stem with what appears to be a dove standing above a female mask on the lower stem above the bowl. The front and back of the bowl is shaped and textured as a clam shell with a scalloped outside rim. Measures 8 3/4" long with the bowl being 3 1/4" wide.
