Artisan Made Large Sterling Silver Faux Tortoise Shell Amazing Pierced Earrings

These earrings are artisan made. They're made of silver (acid tested) and faux tortoise shell or similar material.

They are not Bakelite (409 tested) and not stamped 925, so I really can't call them sterling (even though I think they are). The earrings are about 1-5/8" across x 2-1/4" tall, and they are unsigned. I did not get backings for the posts, so I've added a pair of brand new comfort backs (silver tone metal) for you.

Feel free to ask any questions. I recommend that you clean all jewelry before wearing. I have no control over it, or the ability to remove it.

I will try to answer them to the best of my ability. I sell vintage, not new, so please take into consideration that your item may not look brand new. Normally, I do not clean or polish my vintage items outside of a light dusting or damp wipe.

Marked metals will be described as marked gold, sterling, pewter, etc. Any items you see in the pictures used for display or size reference coin, bill, etc. Are not included in the sale. Please note that some color tones in the pictures may be a light reflection from my camera, my clothing, but more than likely, my bad photography. Unless I make an extreme error in my ad. I do not have a pet free home.
