In 1881 Gorham introduced it line of copper wares. The copper pieces were "completely hand made by their silversmiths", and finished with all the care afforded the firm's finest silver wares. The Turkish coffee pot offered today was the most sought after of the designs, and the form most often illustrated and discussed. It has never been monogrammed. This museum worthy, 1882 Gorham hand made copper & sterling silver Turkish.

Coffee pot just under 13 inches. The hand made copper body retains its original mellow red. Retains much original detail to the applied Japanese birds and garden. Few barely noted bumps and tiny areas surface lines.
