LEBKUECHER STERLING TEA SET TRAY c1895 - 90 OUNCES A very fine and rare turn of the century, completely hand decorated, Lebkuecher sterling silver tray for serving afternoon tea. Examples of this size and quality from the firm are not often observed. Classic rectangular form with curved corner. Corners with hand decorated twin and flowing vine framed leaf and floral sprays. Alternating with inverted, facet cut shell on floral base with flowing leafy vine. Stylized cut-out kidney shape handles. This rare turn of the century Lebkuecher sterling.

Tea tray is 21 3/4 inches across handles. And 14 3/4 across and weighs 90 1/2 standard ounces. Period engraved stylized MFE for the original owner.

Very mild surface wear, from very careful use. The tray sells world wide.
