The incredible work of art is created by carving a tufa stone and then pouring silver into the design, and is one of the earliest Navajo jewelry making techniques. Lee has given the ceremonial figure wonderful detail with the large three pieces of turquoise inlaid across the sash belt. You will also notice the piece of Turquoise Mountain set above the Yei' figure. Medicine Man perform these ceremonies that require a sand painting and wipe the work clean after the ceremony is complete.
