Sterling Silver Vintage Brooch 1920s-1940s, Large Bird, made in Mexico
Offered for sale is an exquisite large Sterling Silver brooch, 1920's to 1940's vintage, stamped "Mexico" on the reverse. The height is approximately 6-3/4 inches high by just over 2-1/2 inches wide across the span of the wings. Stone near the bird's beak, which could possibly be turquoise or some other stone local to the Mexican region where the brooch was created. There is also another very small stone representing the eye of the bird.
