This Rare, OOAK Brooch, has many applied elements, making it a 3 dimensional piece of wearable art, by a very talented artist, who started designing jewelry for his wife. His pieces now are well sought after, & hard to find, especially one this intricately designed & in marvelous condition, considering its age.
It measures 2 1/2" X 2 1/8". It has a bale on the back, so it can also be worn as an impressive pendant or necklace, with a suitable chain or cord.
It has a nice, soft finish with a bit of patina. It is teardrop shaped, framed within an applied sterling silver "frame ", with an applied leaf, that has an applied vein, & 2 applied stems with silver berries that the stems pierce through.
