Vintage Nicholas Pietsch Rutile Quartz Custom Made Sterling Silver Bracelet

Authentic sterling silver Nicholas Pietsch rutile quartz bracelet. This darkened oxidized bracelet features a gorgeous cushion shape cabochon cut rutile quartz. The overall gem is colorless with horizontal and diagonally orientated rutile needles.

The needles have a golden color which creates a wonderful and dramatic contrast with the colorless rock crystal quartz. The cabochon measures close to one and 1/8 inch in length by just over three-quarter inch in width and lies within a delicately serrated open back bezel. Framing the base of the bezel is a secondary or tertiary border with a repeating pattern of hand stamped designs. The cuff portion of the bracelet is decorated with off set organic lines and several clusters of dimple or semi-circular shapes. This bracelet measures two and three-eight inch from side to side by roughly one and 7/8 inch from the top to the bottom (not counting the rutilated quartz). The wrist opening is one inch. Engraved on the interior of the custom manufactured bracelet are the initials "NP" for the artist Nicholas Pietsch and "925" indicating sterling silver in fineness. This bracelet has not been cleaned or polished. Has a rich oxidized color and is in very nice estate condition. Weighs a robust 47.6 grams.
