Gorgeous enameled mussel looks superb when the light hits the lines within the darkened shelled exterior. Metal is sterling silver marked 925 and beams from the interior when opened. At narrow top of shell on inner lip each half is marked 63 noting these two are together original.

May have also been used as a serial number of sorts - not sure. Piece measures 2 1/8" long x 1 1/16" wide Sterling silver, with beautiful enamel exterior Marked TIFFANY & Co. 925 ITALY and the 63 on each half noted above A Tiffany & Co.
