Vintage Turquoise16.5 Sterling Bead Necklace of Hand Made Melon & Bench Beads
Necklace consists of bench made sterling silver melon beads and round beads strung on wire with hook and eye closure. Looks very old, two of the melon beads are crushed and three have minor blemishes, photo 9.
The stringing wire is misshapen, see photo 10, but hangs well on the neck. Sterling can become dark, as you see here, and can be polished back to a beautiful shine with a soft sterling polishing cloth.
